Job Description

About the Role: ClinChoice is a global CRO dedicated to professional growth, work-life balance, and a collaborative, quality-driven team culture. We are seeking a Director, Proposals to join our internal team. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional proposal development, creating strategic proposals and detailed budgets, and managing multiple key accounts within the Costs & Proposals department. Join our team and help us deliver clinical trials that will improve patients' lives.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate contributions from the Legal Department, Business Development, Finance, Project Management, and Functional Area Management teams to review and develop proposals and budgets.
  • Lead designated cross-functional review teams, carry out vision and strategic objectives, and motivate the team to perform to a consistently high standard.
  • Recommend courses of action on salary administration, interviewing, professional development, and employee counselling.
  • Strategically and independently develop long-term initiatives based on business unit priorities that align with leadership vision to drive ongoing improvement and growth.
  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery through direct involvement on key deliverables, triage of RFPs, and ensuring quality control processes are followed.
  • Work with the management team to streamline budget and proposal tools, ensuring accurate bidding and the production of high-quality proposals.
  • Actively participate in training and mentoring of junior staff, monitor workload, and ensure timelines are being met.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University Degree in scientific and/or business/communication and/or similar discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years leading business development deliverables for CRO/Pharmaceutical or Med Device industries at a global level.
  • Previous CRO experience is strictly required.
  • Experience in line management preferred.
  • Fluent in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to attend client meetings.
