Job Description

About the Role: The Monad Foundation is a team of ecosystem builders on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech via the Monad blockchain (a performant and parallel EVM Layer 1). As the Director of Institutional Marketing, you will own the positioning and narrative strategy for business audiences. You'll work closely with the business development and GTM teams to ensure marketing strategy is aligned with deal priorities, helping Monad stand apart in a crowded L1 landscape.

What You'll Do

  • Define and own Monad's market positioning for institutional, enterprise, and payments audiences.
  • Work directly with the BD team and GTM to stay aligned on pipeline priorities, surface co-marketing opportunities, and lead partner activations.
  • Build the content and collateral infrastructure that BD needs to close, including sales materials, evergreen website resources, and the institutional newsletter.
  • String individual integration announcements into a compounding narrative across multiple verticals.
  • Measure outcomes based on signal, tracking which programs drive results and doubling down on what works.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, go-to-market strategy, or market positioning roles, ideally at a crypto infrastructure project or SaaS company.
  • Ability to translate complex infrastructure into a narrative that lands with enterprise decision-makers.
  • Experience running co-marketing programs with external stakeholders alongside BD or sales teams.
  • High agency and self-directed mindset, with fluency in AI tools and strong prompting skills to build leverage.
  • Familiarity with the crypto and broader tech landscape; deep crypto-native experience is a major plus.
