Job Description

About the Role: Sidecar Health is redefining health insurance to make excellent healthcare affordable and attainable for everyone. We are seeking a Director of Account Management to lead our Account Management organization. This role balances strong client relationship management with systems-level thinking to build the tools, processes, and team capabilities needed to scale.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop the Account Management team, setting the vision, goals, and a high-performance culture.
  • Own retention and growth targets across employer groups and build scalable processes for a complex book of business.
  • Serve as a senior client-facing leader with brokers and HR decision-makers, modeling strong relationship management.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive automation and self-service capabilities that improve efficiency and client experience.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics to senior leadership and support new market expansion.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar function within the insurance or healthcare industry.
  • 4+ years in a leadership role with a track record of managing employer relationships and broker partnerships.
  • A systems-level thinker who can identify process gaps and build scalable solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Note: East Coast location is strongly preferred; willingness to travel approximately once per month. Bachelor's degree required.
