Job Description

Datadog, a global SaaS leader listed on NASDAQ (DDOG), is seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales to lead their strategy in the ANZ Public Sector. You will manage, hire, and mentor a team of Enterprise Sales Executives responsible for driving new business and expansion bookings. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the go-to-market strategy for the region. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage, hire, train, and ramp a team of Enterprise Sales Executives. Strategy & Execution: Shape the go-to-market strategy for the ANZ region and achieve annual booking quotas. Coaching: Coach executives on productivity metrics (deal size, win rate, forecast accuracy) and leading customers through proactive sales cycles. Deal Management: Guide the team through complex Enterprise deals, negotiations, and building C-level relationships. Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Product, and Success teams to build targeted messaging and map customer journeys. Forecasting: Conduct weekly forecast meetings to ensure target alignment. Requirements Experience: 5+ years of Enterprise sales experience specifically working with Public Sector customers in ANZ. Management: Proven experience managing a high-performing Enterprise Sales team for a B2B technology company. Closing Skills: Passionate about coaching with a successful track record as an individual contributor in complex closing scenarios. C-Level Access: Knowledgeable in selling to C-level executives in the IT space. Travel: Ability to travel regularly to client sites within the area and other regions.
