Design Engineer (Frontend + Design)

ElevenLabs, the world leader in audio AI, is looking for a Design Engineer to make their website truly world-class. Our website gets millions of views a month and is the most important showcase of our brand. You will ideate and implement beautiful, interactive pages and microsites (like hackathon sites) that are so strong they go viral. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Design, and Growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Web Experiences: Ideate and implement beautiful, intuitive website pages (homepage, product pages) that tell the story of our product.
• Viral Microsites: Take the lead on microsites where the design quality is high enough to drive viral engagement.
• Interactive Demos: Build interactive demos that enhance usability and engagement, showcasing the power of our AI models.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Engineering, and Growth teams to drive SEO and conversion while maintaining brand aesthetics.
• Iteration: Execute and iterate on designs based on user feedback and best practices.

Requirements

• Frontend Engineering: Proficient in Next.js, React, and animation libraries like Framer Motion or D3.
• Design Eye: You are either proficient in design yourself or have a strong "eye for design" and can work closely with designers.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing web projects and your ability to craft compelling web experiences for marketing websites is required.
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively about ElevenLabs’ web and brand presence.

Nice to Have

• Copywriting: Strong copywriting skills.
• SEO: Working knowledge of SEO best practices.
