Job Description

About the Role: Cove started with renting coliving spaces and has expanded to provide flexible long and short-term stays across APAC. We are looking for a Data Engineer (Data Infrastructure & Business Insights) to design, build, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT processes and reliable data pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines in dbt and BigQuery.
  • Integrate data from sources like MongoDB, SQL, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and APIs.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Looker Studio and other BI tools.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility, and implement data quality controls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, sales, finance, and tech to clarify requirements.

What You Bring

  • 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data analytics roles in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel, with experience in BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience with Python for data processing or automation and a solid understanding of data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and BI tools, especially Looker Studio.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
