Data Engineer

About the Role: At NuView Analytics, we help companies accelerate the time to insights from their data. We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team and help clients build scalable, reliable data infrastructure. You'll work across the modern data stack, designing pipelines, architecting warehouses, and enabling the analytical layer that our clients depend on.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for clients across industries.
• Architect and optimize cloud data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to ensure data is clean, reliable, and well-modeled using medallion/lakehouse architectures.
• Champion data quality, testing, and observability best practices, producing clear technical documentation.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, and train/mentor junior team members.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant data engineering or software engineering experience.
• Expertise in SQL (complex queries, optimization) and Python (pipeline scripting, automation).
• Hands-on experience with transformation tools (dbt required), ingestion tools (Fivetran, Airbyte), and orchestration (Airflow, Prefect).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, GCP) and version control (Git).
