Data Annotation Specialist, Engineering

About the Role: Cohere is a team of researchers and engineers training and deploying frontier AI models. We are looking for a Data Annotation Specialist with a background in engineering to evaluate and improve our models' ability to respond to engineering procedures and workflows.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate the model's ability to respond to engineering procedures and workflows.
• Task models to complete engineering tasks and verify information to evaluate accuracy.
• Label, proofread, and improve machine-written and human-written engineering-related outputs.
• Follow style guides and handle unique situations outside its scope.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of industry experience working in engineering fields (civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical).
• An education background in engineering (Bachelors, Masters, or similar).
• Experience on medium-large scale engineering projects involving designing, prototyping, and manufacturing components.
• Experience with CAD software, material billing, and product lifecycle management (PLMs).
• Bonus: Technician/engineering specialist training.
