Cybersecurity Engineer

About the Role: Scarpel Telecom is a fast-growing international telecommunications company at the forefront of A2P messaging technology. We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Engineer (Part-Time) to strengthen our security posture and ensure compliance with international information security standards.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and respond to security events and incidents across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management systems).
• Implement and maintain ISMS in line with international standards (e.g., ISO 27001) and conduct risk assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date security policies, prepare for security audits, and provide regular security posture reports to the CTO.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals and solid knowledge of network security principles.
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) and hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools.
• Familiarity with international security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar).
• English fluency and the ability to balance technical depth with regulatory compliance requirements.
