About the Role: GitLab is the intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, trusted by over 50 million users. We are looking for a Customer Success Manager for the APJ region to help our customers realize the full value of our platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding a portfolio of customers through adoption, measurable outcomes, and DevSecOps best practices while strengthening long-term advocacy.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with assigned customers across APJ, focusing on adoption and satisfaction.
- Provide deployment guidance, operational best practices, and help establish GitLab Centers of Excellence (CoE) within organizations.
- Lead workshops to help customers understand and leverage GitLab across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Turn product usage data into clear, actionable recommendations for both customers and internal GitLab account teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to support issue resolution and share regional customer feedback.
- Measure and monitor customer progress against critical performance indicators to drive retention and growth.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role focused on post-sales adoption, value realization, and customer advocacy.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and common software development pipelines.
- Ability to translate technical data and product usage insights into executive-level recommendations.
- Skill in facilitating workshops and guiding customers through operational change and best practices.
- Openness to learning and collaborating in a globally distributed, all-remote team environment.
