Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, revenue-owning Customer Success Associate (CSA) to join our fast-moving, remote-first team. Designed explicitly as an early-career growth track, this role does not require long years of prior customer success history; instead, we prioritize high-agency individuals with exceptional learning velocity, strong judgment, and unmatched people skills. Working alongside a collaborative team of Customer Success Managers, you will act as a trusted advisor to technical and executive stakeholders, mapping out clear success plans linking our automated testing product to client business metrics while taking direct ownership of core Net Dollar Retention (NDR) targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Value Planning: Partner with technical and executive customer stakeholders to deep-dive into their engineering workflows, aligning product usage with business goals.
- QA Advisory Deployment: Act as a reliable consultant on software testing architectures, automated test infrastructure metrics, and software development lifecycle best practices.
- Retention Metrics Ownership: Drive consistent implementation strategies to over-achieve targets for Net Dollar Retention (NDR) and Gross Dollar Retention (GDR).
- Risk Detection & Escalation: Identify account implementation friction early, handle stakeholder technical objections, and manage support escalations with extreme clarity and urgency.
- Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: Collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering layers to synthesize field telemetry and continuously accelerate the automated customer testing experience.
- Portfolio Growth Tracking: Actively absorb mentorship with the explicit milestone of scaling to independently manage an enterprise portfolio of 20–25 corporate customer accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven track record demonstrating high emotional intelligence, problem-solving initiative, and an output-driven mindset inside ambiguous startup environments.
- Outstanding written and verbal interpersonal communication mechanics, optimized to build alignment across engineering teams and C-suite executives.
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate data insights and translate raw application usage statistics into clear business outcomes.
- Location Context: 100% remote-first operational infrastructure flexibility restricted exclusively to qualified professionals permanently residing inside the United States or Canada.
- Legal Prerequisite: Full legal authorization to work within the US or Canada without any current or future requirement for employer-sponsored visa tracks (such as H-1B, TN, or E-3).
- Hiring Process Commitment: Willingness to navigate a thorough, builder-focused evaluation loop including a recruiting alignment chat, an asynchronous relationship challenge, a mock CS call simulation, and a trial work day with the hiring team.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior client-facing experience or technical exposure inside software development, test automation tools, quality assurance sectors, or SaaS ecosystems.
- Familiarity tracking platform performance metrics, handling client onboarding, or executing value-based customer plans.
What We Offer
- Targeted Annual Base Salary: $90,000 USD flat rate.
- 100% comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance premium coverage.
- 28 days of Personal Time Off (PTO) annually to support sustainable work-life integration.
- A mature remote-first culture giving you the total freedom to operate virtually anywhere across North American borders.
- A highly creative, low-friction workspace driven by exceptional colleagues, radical contextual openness, and high individual ownership.
