Creative Illustrator & Graphic Design Intern

Ungrammary, a globally awarded UX & UI design studio trusted by brands like Adobe, Kotak, and Fossil, is looking for a Creative Illustrator Intern. This role is ideal for an artist with a strong foundation in digital (hand) drawing and sketching, specifically for child-focused content (ages 3–7). If you enjoy creating characters from scratch and visual storytelling, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Illustration & Storytelling (Core Focus)

• Character Design: Create digital sketches, illustrations, and characters for kid-centric content using a simple, colorful, and engaging style.
• Visual Narratives: Develop scenes and visual narratives that support learning, play, and storytelling.
• Hand-Crafted Feel: Convert rough sketches into polished digital illustrations while retaining an organic, hand-crafted feel.

2. Digital & Print Mediums

• Digital Assets: Design engaging visual assets such as website illustrations and banners that align with the brand’s identity.
• Print Prep: Prepare illustrations for print, ensuring accuracy in formats, colors, and layouts.
• File Management: Deliver well-organized, consistent, and fully editable source files.

Requirements

• Artistic Skill: Strong skills in hand drawing, sketching, and illustration (traditional or digital) are mandatory.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Style: Ability to illustrate in multiple styles with a strong focus on playful, kid-friendly aesthetics.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing sketches, characters, and digital assets is required. Kids’ work is a big plus.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
