Responsibilities
- Lead development of company’s visual identity, as part of overall evolution of Redis’ brand; design process/create governance to ensure cohesive execution of brand identity across all channels; use digital tools (Figma, FigJam) to map customer journeys/user profiles/for concept; design/prototype brand/e-commerce websites; oversee development/QA in Shopify Plus, Wordpress system platforms; formatting ads (Adobe InDesign); create animated digital ad packages (Figma, AdobeAfterEffects) to monitor engagement/performance; manage work of graphic designers, motion designers, video editors, creative agencies, freelancers; partner with broader brand marketing team/up-marketing teams to build out performance-driven advertising campaign programs, uplevel product launches; deliver amazing brand experiences at corporate events (RedisCon); oversee prioritization/assignment of all creative requests ensuring deliverables adhere to highest standards; meet goals/timelines; stay within budget; lead information gathering with marketing, sales, various departments to support company-wide brand/creative objects; mature design operations to prioritize requests against business goals; scale team through improved systems/processes; streamline how company works on creative projects as a marketing organization; build trust, respect, credibility with stakeholders, management peers, direct reports, executives; foster an open culture of design critique/feedback across product/ brand design teams; create visually compelling portfolio of inspiring creative for B2B/SaaS brands with case studies that showcase foundations in typography, color, form, design thinking; develop/evolve brand & marketing design systems, visual languages, brand identities; apply best practices for growth marketing/digital ads to brand goals/personality; conceptualize, implement, manage exciting brand vision/marketing plans; apply data-driven approach to achieve measurable outcomes; use design tools (Adobe CC, Figma); and supervise others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications plus 5 years progressive experience. Experience to include using digital tools (Figma, FigJam) to map customer journeys/user profiles/for concept; designing/prototyping brand/e-commerce websites; overseeing development/QA in Shopify Plus, Wordpress system platforms; formatting ads (Adobe InDesign); and creating animated digital ad packages (Figma, AdobeAfterEffects) to monitor engagement/performance.
