Cloud Security Engineer

About the Role: CyberSheath is a rapidly growing Security and IT Managed Services Provider focused on the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team. You will be responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information security infrastructure, leveraging cloud platforms to protect our clients against evolving threats.

What You'll Do

• Architect, establish, and maintain best practices for the implementation of security products and services.
• Configure, implement, and support production security tools (SIEM, EDR, Anti-Spam/Phishing) within client environments.
• Execute client onboarding projects including portal configuration, agent deployment, and systems auditing.
• Actively work on security events that require urgent response, containment, and remediation.
• Maintain excellent documentation (SOPs) and provide ongoing recommendations on toolset tuning and best practices.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience with successful implementation of security products, best practices, and device policies for enterprises.
• 3+ years in Security Administration with a deep understanding of how security impacts business objectives.
• Deep understanding of Office 365 / Azure AD security tooling, policies, and reporting.
• Networking experience (TCP/IP, Routing, VPN) and scripting/coding skills for automation and custom analytics rules (e.g., in Microsoft Sentinel).
• Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen residing within the United States or its Territories.
• Bonus: Experience with CrowdStrike, Okta, Intune, Cisco Umbrella, Rapid7, and certifications related to Microsoft Azure/Security.
