We built Arbi, the first end-to-end AI recruiting platform that connects companies with thousands of specialized recruiters and autonomous AI sourcing agents.
The Role: We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to serve as the highest-ranking technical leader at Neuroscale AI and a core member of the founding team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership leadership role for a technically exceptional, product-minded builder who can define architecture, scale engineering, and help turn an ambitious product roadmap into reality.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall technical vision, platform architecture, and engineering roadmap in alignment with product strategy.
- Lead, recruit, and scale a world-class engineering organization, including hiring standards, team design, mentorship, and technical culture.
- Oversee the design, development, and reliability of Neuroscale's backend systems, agents, talent matching models, orchestration layers, APIs, data workflows, and ext. integrations.
- Drive sound architectural choices across backend systems (such as TypeScript/NestJS and Python/FastAPI), frontend applications, and AI/ML infrastructure.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices across security, observability, testing, reliability, incident response, and documentation.
- Build the operational foundation required for scale, including runbooks, deployment patterns, developer tooling, and health metrics.
- Own the company's compliance and certification roadmap.
- Represent the company's technical strategy externally with customers, partners, and investors.

Interesting problems you WILL work on:
- Intelligently match millions of candidates and companies with our unique and proprietary data source.
- Design monetary and social incentives to define how recruiters should work.
- Build core tooling to power recruiter workflows and enable accurate candidate matching (AI sourcing, notetaking, sequencing, browser extension, etc.).
- Create a new paradigm for how world-class talent finds their dream job via recruiters.
- Hack away at creative ways to acquire marketplace liquidity in new industries like Legal, Finance, Healthcare, Blue Collar, & AI.
The Compensation & Benefits
- $150,000 - $200,000 base salary. On-Target Earnings (OTE) up to $350,000.
- 2 - 4% equity. You are not just a founding engineer. You are an owner.
- $250,000 in AI tooling credits. Cursor, Claude, whatever you need.
