Catalog Merchandising Strategy Manager, Games

Netflix is on a mission to entertain the world, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and making the unimaginable a reality. We are looking for a Catalog Merchandising Strategy Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will define merchandising strategies that deliver stronger content discovery experiences for Netflix Games, ensuring members find the right games at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

• Merchandising Strategy: Set the strategy for organizing and presenting Netflix Games through on-service promotional tactics, messaging, and member experiences.
• Launch Programs: Build promotional programs that highlight games on-service and through owned channels; rapidly learn and iterate through experimentation.
• Studio Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for the Games Studio, evaluating their promotional ideas from a consumer perspective.
• Discovery Innovation: Research new "need states" for game discovery by analyzing internal data and industry trends.
• Cross-Functional Optimization: Work closely with Product Management and Data Science to design strategies that increase game adoption.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in Merchandising Roles or Games Marketing.
• Platform Knowledge: Experience with platforms is required: Mobile, TV, Web, and Cloud.
• Data-Driven: Experience in designing and evaluating A/B tests and applying qualitative/quantitative consumer insights to define success.
• Consumer Behavior: Deep understanding of consumer behaviors and discovery habits within entertainment and games.
• Soft Skills: Collaborative, curious, and able to drive alignment amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
