Business Intelligence Engineer

About the Role: Trinetix is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer for a large operator of neighborhood hospitals. This role targets expanding the team's development capacity, accelerating delivery of a consolidation roadmap, and owning end-to-end BI solutions from requirements gathering through delivery.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards aligned with a prime model architecture.
• Build and maintain Qlik Sense visualizations and dashboards via Qlik Cloud Service.
• Migrate and re-platform existing SSRS reports into Power BI or Qlik Sense environments.
• Gather requirements, create data documentation (data dictionary, business glossary), and ensure pixel-perfect visual consistency.
• Support the monthly KPI dashboard distribution process and ad hoc development changes.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development (semantic modeling, DAX, report design).
• Solid Qlik Sense experience and strong SQL / T-SQL skills for data exploration and query development.
• Experience working with complex, multi-source data models and independently documenting unfamiliar data schemas.
• An ownership mindset with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience in healthcare analytics, Copilot/AI-assisted tools, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
