Job Description
About the Role: VALD is the world leader in technology for the allied health industry, providing innovative human-measurement technology. We are seeking a Business Development Manager with an allied health or physical therapist background to join our global team. You will attend conferences, perform product demonstrations, set up product trials, and nurture new leads to find new opportunities for VALD.
What You'll Do
- Target new clients and nurture existing distributor relationships to uncover new business opportunities.
- Perform product demonstrations (both in-person and teleconferences) in clinical, performance, and tactical settings.
- Set up and oversee product trials, using an education-based approach to sales to show clients the value of our systems.
- Hold yourself accountable for reaching sales targets and reporting on the sales pipeline.
- Travel for client meetings and represent VALD at industry conferences and events.
What You Bring
- Prior experience working in a clinical or allied health setting, such as a physiotherapist/physical therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to persuasively demonstrate VALD systems.
- A self-starter mentality, comfortable with targeting new clients and reaching sales targets.
- Prior experience using CRMs and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Must reside in Milano, Italy, with the willingness and ability to travel.
