Position Overview

We are seeking a highly sophisticated, commercially aware Business Analyst to join our core global Change division under the Operations and Compliance department in a full-time remote capacity within the North of the United Kingdom. Embedded directly inside our fast-moving Change team, you will partner tightly beside our Project & Operations Manager, external vendors, and subject matter experts to translate complex organizational challenges into structured, functional enterprise designs. Shifting completely away from passive workflow logging, you will claim individual accountability for evaluating business requirements, identifying systems-level gaps, and managing strategic technical dependencies from discovery through to live implementation. This high-agency role demands a solution-focused systems analyst who possesses top-tier process-mapping skills, understands cross-functional stakeholder matrix dynamics, and is eager to bring structure to complex operational evolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Discovery: Lead end-to-end requirement discovery loops across diverse cross-functional teams, systematically capturing, analyzing, and documenting abstract business needs clearly.
  • Agile User Story Architecture: Translate high-level business criteria and technical specifications into highly structured user stories, comprehensive acceptance criteria, and engineer-ready system definitions.
  • Functional Process Mapping: Architect, audit, and maintain detailed system flowcharts, meticulously documenting current-state (As-Is) workflows and designing highly efficient future-state (To-Be) modes of working.
  • Business Systems Optimization: Partner with external implementation partners and technology vendors to support the customization, data cleansing, and optimization of core enterprise platforms, specifically focusing on **HubSpot CRM and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP**.
  • Risk & Dependency Diagnostics: Isolate hidden operational risks, identify structural system cross-dependencies, and transform analytical insights into practical, high-signal mitigation recommendations for leadership.
  • Change Management Support: Collaborate closely beside the broader Change unit to support user acceptance testing (UAT), structure employee training playbooks, and ensure smooth corporate system rollouts.
  • Funnel Telemetry & Benefits Tracking: Establish and monitor data metrics to track post-implementation performance, measuring channel ROI, lifecycle efficiency enhancements, and process adoption margins.
  • Asynchronous Documentation Governance: Author, standardize, and maintain detailed process definitions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and data quality governance manuals across a remote-first team ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven professional history running native Business Analysis, systems analysis, management consulting operations, or enterprise change management tracking.
  • Demonstrated experience defining, designing, and documenting functional requirement frameworks, with verified baseline history writing detailed agile user stories.
  • Advanced operational background executing complex process-mapping loops and modeling system lifecycles inside data tracking interfaces and Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Strong technical familiarity navigating enterprise data environments, highlighting exposure to core CRM and ERP structures like **HubSpot or Business Central**.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management mechanics, with an absolute capacity to communicate complex process changes clearly to both technical engineers and senior business executives.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to system troubleshooting and a natural curiosity for continuous operational improvement.
  • UK Right to Work Constraint: Possession of a pre-existing, non-sponsored right to work and travel within the United Kingdom (documentary evidence required for vetting checks).
  • Location Context: Full-time remote parameters open exclusively to qualified change management and process specialists base-stationed permanently within the **Remote UK - North** territory to execute from home.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience operating in a specialized business analyst capacity inside a fast-paced, rapidly evolving cloud technology scale-up or software consulting firm.
  • Familiarity with data validation parameters, workflow migration tools, low-code automation scripting, or basic database schema logic.
  • Exposure to formal change frameworks, structured technical training models, or global system rollout testing suites.

What We Offer

  • The exceptional professional canvas to directly direct, analyze, and shape the operational processes and enterprise architectures powering the industry standard for building safety.
  • Highly attractive baseline compensation packages supplemented by a transparent, performance-oriented structure for professional development and continuous career velocity.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering high lifestyle flexibility, complete scheduling trust, and an inclusive, collaborative team setup.
  • Generous time-off benefits comprising 26 days of annual holiday plus local bank holidays, with a flexible corporate option to buy additional days.
  • Immediate eligibility to enroll in our company-supported pension scheme alongside comprehensive life assurance options for added peace of mind.
  • Access to elite private medical insurance coverages natively provided through BUPA infrastructure.
  • Complete entry to the specialized Perkbox rewards platform, offering an extensive range of lifestyle discounts, everyday savings, and community perks.
  • Access to eco-friendly benefits, showcasing the affordable Octopus Electric Vehicle scheme alongside dedicated volunteering leave to support causes that matter to you.
  • Continuous mental health and personal alignment care channels provided via the WeCare wellbeing support infrastructure.
