Design has been a part of Tines’ story since it was founded, and great design plays an indispensable role in our shared success. Designers at Tines are trusted and relied upon to deliver inventive work to a high standard, and we are supported in doing so.
In this role, you’ll work as part of the brand team, part of the wider design team which includes product designers. You’ll report to the Head of Creative. You will be involved in a wide range of projects, from start to finish and as a contributor.
This is a remote or semi-remote position, with the employee required to be located in Ireland. (You will have access to our Dublin city centre office).
Responsibilities
- You will contribute to design deliverables across multiple areas including, but not limited to: design for print, social assets, marketing outputs, web pages, emails; and all processes that feed into those outputs.
- Medium- or long-form document creation.
- Systemization of that to extend to templated approached for use in the brand team and the broader team.
- Creation of our event stands and booths, and associated assets in support of field marketing: swag, gifts and associated content for social.
- Preparation of final production-ready files as directed.
- Ensuring the Tines brand is represented at the highest quality.
- Developing your own practice through experience and training.
- Staying up to date with industry developments and creative production approaches and techniques.
- Research, idea generation and aesthetic development in projects.
- Developing new proficiencies as a project requires it.
- Seeking direction when needed to ensure the work is in on the right track.
- Clear proactive communication to stakeholders and colleagues.
Activities
- Graphic design: layout and typography as they apply to a diverse set of outputs.
- Working creatively within existing brand guidelines.
- Working proactively under your own initiative or as part of the design team.
- Contributing to the wider design team in critique sessions.
- Collaborating with colleagues in the design team.
- Collaborating with outside suppliers and vendors.
- Planning and prioritisation in your own tasks.
Requirements
- You love design and care deeply about the quality of your work. You’re never satisfied with the status quo.
- Experience working in a brand design team.
- You’re self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative.
- You can be trusted that you’ll do what you say you will and deliver on time.
- Skilled in the core tools, able to choose the right one for each task.
- Able to keep up with a fast pace and quick turn over of work.
- Able to juggle multiple projects.
