AWS Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on the AWS platform. This role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with data scientists and analysts to deliver robust data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda).
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for various data sources.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement data governance and compliance policies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Extensive experience with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and big data technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
