About Mind Computing: Mind Computing is seeking a skilled AWS Developer to design, develop, and manage secure, high-performance cloud-based applications. This role integrates heavily with cloud database architecture and automated backend workflows to support modernization initiatives across scalability-focused enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Application Development: Design, build, and deploy serverless and distributed applications leveraging core AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions).
- Data Pipeline & ETL Support: Architect and maintain robust ETL and data integration workflows using specialized tools like AWS Glue.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, modify, and optimize cloud infrastructure programmatically using Terraform or CloudFormation scripts.
- DevOps Integration: Build out continuous delivery systems by managing automated pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
- Cloud Security & Compliance: Enforce strict security baseline practices utilizing IAM policies, KMS encryption layers, and regulatory configurations.
- Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot system constraints and track application performance via AWS CloudWatch metrics and log analysis dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 5+ years of dedicated professional experience working as an AWS Developer or Cloud Systems Engineer.
- Strong backend proficiency in Python with deep hands-on execution of data processing libraries.
- Solid exposure to containerized ecosystems including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong database familiarity including SQL operations and modern NoSQL structure management.
- Excellent capability to translate complex business logics into production-ready cloud architectures.
- Must be located within the continental United States and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Nice to Have Skills
- Active AWS Certifications (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Professional).
- Prior experience navigating software architectures inside Healthcare or Federal sectors.
- Familiarity handling x12 electronic data interchange and claims processing transactions.
- Familiarity with SaaS integrations (Jira, ServiceNow, Pega) and enterprise REST APIs.
