AWS Data Engineer

About the Role: At Netrix Global, we are looking for an AWS Data Engineer for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. You will act as a critical member of the data science team, designing architectures, creating data required for modern Data solutions, and preparing data for Machine Learning workloads.

What You'll Do

• Design ETLs and ELTs for data transformations and manage Datalakes architectures.
• Work with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow) and Big Data environments.
• Manage Data Cloud services, data access, security, and data governance.
• Analyze and prepare data for Machine Learning workloads and manage monitoring and logs of applications.
• Integrate, test, and document Data solutions to meet project requirements.

What You Bring

• Experience in a Data Engineer/Architect role with tasks such as ETL, data preparation, ingestion, and streaming.
• 2+ years of experience working in Cloud environments, specifically AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, SageMaker).
• Experience with Apache Spark and knowledge of Python, R, or other data processing tools.
• Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Intermediate/Upper English level and experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
