Audiobook Specialist (Freelance)

We are launching "Productions," a new marketplace that brings together AI audio tools and human experts. We are looking for freelance Audiobook Specialists to edit and polish AI-generated audiobook narrations, ensuring they meet professional standards for natural flow, consistency, and artistic intent.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Narration Editing: Edit and polish AI-generated audiobook narrations for natural flow and consistency.
• Direction: Ensure character voices, tone, and pacing align perfectly with the author’s intent.
• Casting: Handle voice casting and direction to match the style of the book.
• Post-Production: Collaborate with audio engineering and mixing teams on mastering and post-production.

Requirements

• Language: Native or near-native fluency in English (and/or other supported languages).
• Experience: Prior professional experience in audiobook narration, production, or editing.
• Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to audio and linguistic accuracy.
• Autonomy: Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time.

Nice to Have

• Tools: Proficiency in audiobook post-processing using a DAW (Pro Tools, Audition, or Reaper).
• Industry Background: Previous work with publishers or audiobook production companies.
• Tech: Experience using the ElevenLabs platform or other AI-assisted narration tools.
