Associate WordPress Engineer

rtCamp is a top-tier WordPress agency that builds solutions for giants like Google, Meta, IndianExpress, and Al Jazeera. They are hiring Associate Software Engineers to build secure, scalable enterprise-grade WordPress solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Development: Build secure, scalable WordPress solutions using best practices.
• Clean Coding: Write clean, reusable code with proper documentation (Critical for enterprise clients).
• Theme & Plugin Dev: Develop responsive themes and high-quality plugins from scratch.
• Remote Communication: Communicate proactively and manage deadlines in a distributed setup.

Requirements

• Core Stack: Strong understanding of JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS.
• The "Gatekeeper": Open-source contributions are mandatory. They look for Pull Requests (PRs) on GitHub projects.
• Background: Open to CS/CE/IT students with a strong grasp of computer fundamentals.
• Tools: Familiarity with Git and basic web architecture.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React.
• Familiarity with Composer, Nginx/Apache, and Unit Testing.

Compensation Structure

1. Probation (~6 Months): ₹25,000 / month.
2. Confirmation Bonus: ₹1,50,000 (One-time upon converting to full-time).
3. Full-Time Salary: ₹1,00,000 / month (Total CTC ₹12 LPA).
