Position Summary:
The Associate Director / Director of Product Management, Oncology Clinical Trial Matching, leads the development and commercialization of Signatera clinical trial matching product for current and future versions of the Signatera product line, including on-market and new tissue-informed MRD products. This role supports the long-term vision and 5-year strategic planning for the product roadmap, with a focus on growing and accelerating the Signatera trials enrollment. The position requires strategic thinking combined with strong execution and leadership in cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include managing the product lifecycle from concept to obsolescence, developing the strategic roadmap, prioritizing features and programs, creating product requirements, and improving overall product performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the clinical trial matching product roadmap for the Signatera product line.
Define and deliver product requirements based on customer needs and operational constraints.
Oversee product performance and manage product support across various departments, including Product Management, Molecular Biology R&D, Software Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Clinical/Medical, Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development.
Develop product performance metrics, analyze data, and collaborate with teams to identify and implement improvement strategies.
Identify business opportunities, create business cases, and build financial models to support product initiatives.
Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to validate product features and enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with marketing teams to define product positioning, market launch plans, pricing, and the creation of key marketing collateral.
Present data-driven arguments to gain stakeholder alignment and buy-in for strategic initiatives.
Provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders on product vision, progress, and roadmap updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in physical or life sciences, statistics, or engineering. A Master’s or PhD degree is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years in product management, product marketing, commercialization, or strategic consulting.
Experience in oncology products, medical devices, or diagnostics is highly preferred.
Familiarity with large-scale high complexity molecular testing laboratories, particularly in tumor tissue sequencing, is desirable.
Expertise in the Life Sciences industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of technology and the ability to articulate customer value propositions effectively.
Excellent project and process management skills.
Proficiency with office applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel) and presentation tools (e.g., MS PowerPoint).
Basic financial and economic modeling skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
