Position Summary
Natera is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Product Management, Women's Health to join our dynamic Women’s Health team. You will oversee product development and go-to-market strategy for a new innovative product. This role is integral to ensuring we deliver a world-class experience for both healthcare providers and patients in the high-risk pregnancy space. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Medical teams to drive product innovation, achieve successful market entry, and establish a competitive advantage. This position reports directly to the Head of Product Management for Women’s Health.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Leadership & Strategy
Lead the product development and commercialization strategy for a revolutionary new product area.
Oversee all aspects of the new product, including defining requirements for assays, lab operations, data analysis, and reporting.
Lead a cross-functional product team to drive the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
Develop and implement forward-thinking product strategies that promote growth, innovation, and competitive differentiation in the high-risk pregnancy market.
2. Sales & Market Engagement
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Training teams to deliver product expertise and support key launch initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and collaborators to drive new product adoption and customer satisfaction.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with R&D, Lab Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support to ensure cohesive product development and execution.
Provide product training and ongoing support to internal teams to enhance product knowledge and execution.
Proactively manage and monitor development and launch milestones, ensuring swift communication and execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles, with a strong focus on healthcare or life sciences.
Proven track record in managing products through their entire lifecycle, especially during the development and launch phases.
Deep understanding of high-risk pregnancy, maternal-fetal medicine, and/or diagnostic testing markets.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to think strategically and act tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and product excellence.
