Analytics Engineer

About the Role: ClickUp is an all-in-one productivity platform looking for a motivated Analytics Engineer. In this role, you will architect performant data models, design scalable SQL transformations, and partner with stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions across the organization using a modern data stack (Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Metaplane, Hex).

What You'll Do

• Architect performant and reusable data models to scale Analytics across ClickUp.
• Design and implement scalable SQL transformations, frameworks, and governance practices to support data pipelines.
• Partner effectively with stakeholders to design and implement data solutions that enable their work.
• Apply an ownership mentality to datasets, deeply understanding the data and its use cases.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in Analytics, with at least 1 year as an Analytics Engineer.
• Proficiency in SQL, data warehouse performance best practices, and Git for version control.
• Experience contributing to a dbt project with engineering best practices (unit testing, data quality checks).
• Proficiency with Metaplane or equivalent data observability tools.
• Bonus: Experience in a SaaS business and familiarity with AI tools like Cursor or Windsurf.
