Job Description

About the Role: People Insights is a Center of Excellence (CoE) that enables The Walt Disney Company to attract, engage, and retain talent through compelling and actionable people analytics and insights. As a Report Engineering Analyst, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reporting solutions and data assets that support enterprise HR decision-making. Note: This is a temporary role/project hire with no guarantee of permanent placement.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain Snowflake tables, views, and other data objects that support HR reporting and analytics.
  • Support the development of dashboards and reports in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos.
  • Translate business questions and requirements into well-structured queries, metrics, and visualizations.
  • Support data pipelines and transformations by writing and maintaining SQL and basic scripting (e.g., Python).
  • Perform data validation, testing, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs.
  • Document data definitions, logic, and report usage to support transparency and governance.
  • Support the ingestion, transformation, and reporting of employee survey data (e.g., Qualtrics) into the reporting ecosystem.
  • Partner with survey and insights teams to ensure survey data is accurately modeled and integrated with HR datasets.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience using SQL and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake or comparable platforms).
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos.
  • Experience working with survey platforms such as Qualtrics or analyzing employee listening data.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts and analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Analytics, or related field is preferred.
  • Bonus: Experience working with HR data/systems (Workday, SAP), Python scripting, Agile environments (Jira, Confluence), and GitLab/GitHub.
