AI/ML Engineer

MicroAgility APAC is seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will design and optimize intelligent systems, focusing on Generative AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and LLM-powered workflows. This is a hands-on role ideal for developers who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to solve complex business problems using cutting-edge AI. Key Responsibilities Backend Development: Design and maintain AI/ML-driven backend services using Python (FastAPI or Flask). RAG Implementation: Build end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems to enhance LLM capabilities. Vector Search: Integrate and manage vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) for semantic search and retrieval. LLM Workflows: Work extensively with OpenAI API and LangChain to create robust AI workflows. Data Pipelines: Develop pipelines for document processing (PDF/DOCX extraction) and web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy). Optimization: Continuously test and optimize system performance for scalability and reliability. Requirements Experience: 3+ years of Python development experience. Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in FastAPI/Flask, OpenAI API, and LangChain. Database Skills: Hands-on experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.). Soft Skills: specific attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently. Contract Details Duration: 16 Weeks (Weeks 1–16). Commitment: 20 Hours per week.
