AI Data Engineer

About the Role: Power Digital is a tech-enabled growth firm at the intersection of marketing, consulting, and data intelligence. We are seeking an AI Data Engineer to operate at the intersection of data engineering and applied AI, building end-to-end solutions that power our internal AI platform. You will take ownership from raw data ingestion through to AI-ready outputs and features.

What You'll Do

• Build and own end-to-end data pipelines in Snowflake, from raw ingestion to serving layers for AI products.
• Partner with ML engineers and data scientists to build and maintain AI-specific data infrastructure.
• Consolidate fragmented data sources into reliable, automated pipelines and design scalable data models.
• Proactively monitor and resolve data quality issues, optimizing for cost and performance.
• Use AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow to accelerate pipeline development.

What You Bring

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience building end-to-end data solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse, along with working knowledge of AWS (S3, Lambda, EventBridge).
• Understanding of data modeling, Git, basic CI/CD practices, and BI/semantic layers like Looker.
• Active use of AI tools in development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
• Bonus: Hands-on exposure to AI workflows such as embeddings, vector databases, and RAG systems.
