AI Accelerated App Developer

About the Role: This role is for one of Weekday's clients. We are seeking an AI-first Mobile Engineer with strong expertise in React Native who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments. You will combine technical excellence with AI-accelerated workflows to rapidly design, build, and scale mobile applications for marketing experiments and lead generation.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications using React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate feature development and refine AI-generated outputs.
• Build and launch rapid prototypes with minimal turnaround time while ensuring a seamless, visually appealing UI/UX.
• Manage app deployment processes across platforms, including app stores, compliance, and release management.
• Take ownership of live applications, troubleshooting issues, resolving production incidents, and ensuring high availability.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern mobile development practices.
• Proven ability to use AI tools (coding assistants, UI generators) to significantly enhance development speed.
• Skilled at evaluating AI-generated code to identify errors, security risks, and inefficiencies before integration.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, APIs, analytics tools, and end-to-end app lifecycles.
