3D Motion Designer (Mobile Game Ads)

Kolibri Games, a Berlin-based mobile games developer known for defining the "Idle" genre with hits like Idle Miner Tycoon and Idle Bank Tycoon, is looking for a 3D Motion Designer. This role is not just about making "pretty" videos; it focuses on producing high-performing video ads with compelling hooks that grab attention in the first three seconds and drive installs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ad Production: Create 30-second 3D video ads based on marketing briefs and current trends.
• Animation: Animate existing 3D game assets specifically for marketing use, focusing on strong character animation.
• Full Pipeline: Handle the full pipeline independently, from scene setup and animation to rendering and final editing.
• Iteration: Iterate on existing videos and concepts by swapping assets, changing camera angles, or optimizing intros to improve performance.

Requirements

• 3D Software: Proficiency in Blender or similar 3D software.
• Compositing: Proficiency in After Effects or similar video editing/compositing software.
• Animation Skills: Strong character animation skills based on solid animation principles.
• UA Experience: Proven experience creating mobile game ads (UA creatives) and understanding mobile marketing (hooks, pacing, CTAs).
• Language: Application must be in English.
