1 on 1 Remote Math Tutor (Grades 5-8)

About the Role: Think Academy is an Ed-Tech company providing K-12 extra-curricular learning services. We are looking for a Remote Math Tutor to deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 across North America. Our curriculum aligns with U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS), and through personalized instruction, we help students strengthen foundational skills and build confidence in problem-solving.

What You'll Do

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8, aligned with the CCSS framework.
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement and strengthen core concepts.
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Math, Education, or related fields are preferred.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred.
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
