Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Python Technical Lead to join our core centralized Product Development team in a full-time remote capacity within India. In this senior individual contributor and team orchestration seat, you will step up to claim individual strategic accountability for guiding the technical direction, system design, and implementation practices executed by your entire engineering cell. Shifting completely away from basic template copy-pasting or passive repository logging, you will serve as a chief technologist across all stages from conceptualization to deployment, evaluating critical trade-offs between system correctness, robustness, performance, and real-world customer impact. This role requires an enterprise development veteran with 10+ years of web engineering history who applies object-oriented programming principles fluidly, structures complex system architectures using UML or C4 metrics, and mentors senior engineers across global teams to elevate engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Direction and Lifecycle Governance: Independently guide the structural direction and full-lifecycle implementation of enterprise systems, managing software paths from initial conceptualization to deployment.
• High-Performance Backend Engineering: Code, design, and optimize secure data pipelines, asynchronous logic blocks, and relational integrations natively leveraging Python programming frameworks.
• Relational and Warehouse Database Triage: Oversee and maintain comprehensive data storage architectures, structuring performant migration queries, and indexing layouts natively utilizing Backend technologies over PostgreSQL engines.
• High-Level System Design and Modeling: Formulate logical system views, class hierarchies, and sequence diagrams, mapping technical strategy fluidly following UML, C4, or ArchiMate modeling methodologies.
• Repository and Documentation Practices Management: Create and govern the team’s central technical documentation and Git repository management workflows, strictly controlling branches, pull requests, and merges.
• Architecture Validation and Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely alongside product and design stakeholders to oversee dependencies influencing strategy, verifying and influencing overall architecture beyond your immediate team.
• Secure Code Auditing and Bug Mitigation: Lead deep code reviews and technical documentation audits, addressing complex bug fixes with an absolute focus on security, SOLID principles, and OWASP compliance guidelines.
• Engineering Practice Mentorship: Act as an active leader within the internal Engineering Practice community, providing hands-on career guidance and technical mentorship to Senior Engineers through Communities of Practice (CoPs).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of verified professional history running advanced web development, backend systems programming, distributed software engineering, or technical lead-level application consulting.
• Deep, authoritative technical command of object-oriented design patterns, software scaling rules, and full-lifecycle Agile software development methodologies.
• Expert-tier programming proficiency writing clean, highly optimized, and maintainable enterprise application logic natively using Python and its primary development frameworks.
• Production-tested experience configuring, containerizing, and orchestrating cloud microservices natively utilizing advanced Backend tools including PostgreSQL, AWS ecosystems, and Docker containers.
• Working knowledge of frontend fundamentals (JavaScript, CSS, HTML) paired with structural familiarity navigating OAuth2 and OpenID Connect protocols.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication traits in fluent English, with an absolute capacity to coordinate seamlessly and present technical architectures to a globally-based development team.
• Location Context: Parameters open exclusively to qualified technical leads base-stationed permanently within **India** to execute production and leadership duties under a 100% remote work-from-home layout.

• Prior commercial history integrating Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) security solutions into enterprise-level cloud platforms.
• Hands-on operational experience building automated CI/CD pipeline automation tracks, working with non-relational NoSQL databases, and engineering Cloud Native applications.
